The subject of this essay is the methodological exploration of troubles in space perception. I'm trying to understand the way the body works and to classify the situations in wich our perception is destabilized. The human subject, in those very particular moments, acquires knowledge that consitute his own history and the History. The fact that Knowledge is entirely based on a sensitive and subjective individual perception questions the contemporary hierarchy of knowledge, and so the coherence of western modern values.
Instead of simply answering "what are the troubles in space perceptions ?", this research opens the mind to a number of crucial questions with a singular and militant mind. The study of the multiplicity of the "recipies" to create sensations and emotions constitute the physiological and sociological basis of my artistic and design practice.

L’'objet de ce mémoire est l’exploration méthodique des troubles de la perception de l’'espace.
Je cherche à comprendre le fonctionnement du corps sensible et inventorier les situations dans lesquelles la compréhension de notre environnement est destabilisée. Le sujet humain dans ces situations particulièrement délicates à décrire acquiert de la connaissance qui constitue son histoire personnelle puis l’' Histoire collective. Les conséquences de l’'idée selon laquelle le Savoir s’'appuie sur une perception subjective individuelle questionne l’'organisation du Savoir et par conséquent notre système de valeurs modernes occidental.
Au lieu de répondre simplement à “"que sont les troubles de la perception de l’'espace?"”, cette recherche soulève un ensemble de questions avec un regard singulier et engagé.
L’'étude de la multitude des méthodes pour fabriquer des émotions constitue la base physiologique, sociologique et philosophique de ma pratique créative.

THIS ESSAY BECAME A CONTEMPORARY DANCE PIECE :

When i was writting this essay, i was sending it day after day to my collaborators the choreographers Eva Kuepfer and Simone Truong in the Netherlands. The dance piece "Brro Checked" is based on this essay and on the research on Eva and Simone. Together we choreographed this dance piece that was performed in the Netherlands, France and Swiss.
